May Day has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, bringing with it new fish and bugs to catch, a fun maze to run through, and the opportunity to buy seasonal items. You’re told you can find these seasonal items in the Nook Shopping app, but you may not know where in the app you need to go. Where to buy seasonal items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

- Open the Nook Shopping app and open the Special Goods section.
- While in Special Goods, tap your right trigger to tab over to the seasonal items section.
- Seasonal items count towards your '5 items per customer per day' limit in the Nook Shopping app.
The first thing to know is that seasonal items can be found in the Nook Shopping app in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can access the Nook Shopping app using the Nook Stop Terminal, or by using your Nook Phone once the app unlocks.
At first, everything will look the same in the Nook Shopping list with similar rotational items in the Special Goods section including a new K.K. Slider song for you to purchase. However, a separate tab has been added to the Special Goods section of the Nook Shopping app that’s exclusively for seasonal items.
To access the separate tab for seasonal items, all you need to do is tap your right trigger. Inside the seasonal items tab, you’ll see a new seasonal offering. Right now, the ‘Thank-you Mom mug’ is available for purchase in exchange for 600 Bells. Note that buying a seasonal item counts towards your '5 items per customer per day' limit.
To ensure you collect all of these limited-time seasonal items, we encourage you to check your Nook Shopping app and the seasonal item tab daily. Similarly, it’s worth checking in with the Nook Stop Terminal itself every day to earn some bonus Nook Miles.
