Amazon’s new shooter Crucible is out in the world, available for any and all PC players to download and dive into, trying their best to conquer its three different game types. If you want to try it out, the good news is that it won’t cost you a penny, but you will need to know where to download Crucible. We’ve put together a quick guide below that’ll have you tearing through the jungles and harvesting essence in no time at all.

On its first release, Crucible is only available on Steam, Valve’s PC gaming distribution service. You can click here to head directly to the Steam Store page where you can download Crucible. Click the Play Game button to add Crucible to your account and begin downloading. Anyone who downloads and logs in to crucible before 11:59 on June 1 will get 1,000 credits for free

If you want to give yourself a boost with some in-game skins, credits and access to the pre-season battle pass you can splash some money by buying the Tracker Founder’s Pack, Predator’s Founder Pack or Alpha Hunter Founder’s Pack. Simply scroll down the steam page and pick the version you want to pay for.

Crucible is a team-based shooter. Because combat and objectives are highly dependent on working with your allies, we suggest partnering up with a few other friends and encouraging them to download the game as well. Join as a group together and you’ll have much better odds of coming out on top in all three game modes, especially during that blissful opening period where no one has any clue what they’re doing.

Is Crucible on consoles?

Currently no, Crucible is not available on consoles. It's a PC-only release for the time being, but if the game does well there then there's every chance it'll make the jump to other platforms in future.

Now that you know how to download Crucible you can head over to Steam and get stuck in! Once your download finishes of course. Are you excited to try out the game? Let us know in the comments below.
