Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to PS5 at some point after the console's launch this holiday 2020, as revealed in today's PS5 game announcement stream.
The game shows a young girl using magic to save a forest from various cartoony evils, with more than a touch of the Pixar magic sheen to it. You can check out some of Kena: Bridge of Spirits in the trailer below.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is being developed by Ember Lab, which appears to be a debut game from a studio which has previously only done visual fx showreels. The animation looks gorgeous, so color us interested in this one.
"A story-driven action adventure with a stunning visual aesthetic combining exploration with fast-paced combat," reads the game's announcement trailer description. "Players find and grow a team of charming spirit companions called the Rot, enhancing their abilities and creating new ways to manipulate the environment.
"Kena: Bridge of Spirits seamlessly blends action and narrative into an unforgettable experience. Travel with Kena, a young Spirit Guide on a quest to uncover the mysterious story surrounding the demise of the village."
