Join your favorite streamers for the HyperX Pridestream

The HyperX Pridestream kicks off a celebration of LGBTQ+ streamers tomorrow for eight hours of friendly fun while raising money for the Stonewall Community Foundation.

Four streamers from the LGBTQ+ community will be hosting their own segments throughout the day on Thursday June 25 from 10am PST until 6pm.

Donations throughout the stream will benefit the Stonewall Community Foundation, which funds work that makes a difference on the issues that matter to the LGBTQ+ community, including education, health and support for family acceptance.

A tentative schedule for tomorrow's HyperX Pridestream looks like this, though there'll be plenty of fun throughout the day whenever you turn up:

On top of the donations to the Stonewall Community Foundation, HyperX will also be donating 10% of all merchandise and peripheral sales for the weekend period of June 25-28 to Stonewall.

The foundation is named after the 1969 uprising at the Stonewall Inn in New York's Greenwich Village. On June 28, police raided the LGBTQ-friendly establishment sparking the formation of the gay liberation front, which championed equality for all sexualities and genders, following on from the civil rights movement of the late 60s and early 70s.

The liberation after the Stonewall uprising is part of why June is named Pride Month, where organized marches are held all over the world to celebrate marginalized voices, and commemorate the beginning of the road to equality for non-heteronormative lifestyles.

You can tune in to the HyperX Pridestream on June 25 from 10am PST, by heading over to the HyperX Twitch channel. And make sure to get your donations in, or make that new keyboard purchase you've been holding off on. It's technically not just for you, then.
