BroadcastHER Virtual Summit aims to inspire and support women in streaming and gaming

The upcoming BroadcastHER Virtual Summit is aimed at helping women in streaming and gaming achieve their dreams.

The event was organised by the 1,000 Dreams Fund, which looks to provide educational assistance and scholarship funding for high school and college women, and to help them achieve their dreams in a range of fields.

Sponsored by HyperX and Twitch, the BroadcastHER Virtual Summit is due to take place October 17 and 18. The online conference will feature panels and talks by a range of experienced keynote speakers from the streaming and gaming industries. To guide attendees, BroadcastHER will be inviting several experienced guest speakers and panelists from the gaming industry, including streamer and commentator CupAhNoodle; Gamespot video host Persia_xo; journalist, streamer, and I Need Diverse Games founder Tanya DePass; and many others. While pre-registration sold out in short order, the official ticket sales have now gone live, letting you sign up to the weekend event for $5. Sales are open until October 16 so, provided they don't sell out, you've got until the day before the show to pick one up. Buying a ticket gives access to the event VOD and allows you to ask questions live during panels. You'll also receive digital resources from the 1,000 Dreams Fund and partners to help your esports/streaming/broadcasting goal. Anyone who signs up will also be added to a giveaway from for 12 HyperX Cloud Alpha headsets.

All proceeds from tickets will go towards the 1,000 Dreams Fund - Twitch BroadcastHER Grant, which provides financial assistance to broadcasters for various expenses such as travel and hardware upgrades.
