Apex Legends Olympus map revealed in Season 7 trailer

First look at Apex Legends' new map Olympus appears in the trailer for Season 7 looking bright and colorful.

Apex Legends' new map Olympus will take combatants to a luxury floating platform in the sky, as the latest trailer for Season 7 gives us our first look at the battlefield.

The Ascension Launch trailer shows World's Edge finally being destroyed after a rocket launches from its pad, as our wise-cracking hero Mirage follows it to some sort of luxury cruise-ship-slash-orbital-platform hovering in the clouds.

You can see a shot of the entire Apex Legends Olympus map in the latest trailer as Mirage takes a peek out of the dropship cockpit when they fly over.

Among the landmarks we can pick out from this overview in the theatrical version of Season 7's trailer, there are some recurring pieces of the Apex lore puzzle, including the rocket that lifted off from World's Edge which is now docked with this floating platform near the top right.

The platform appears to have tunnels running through the middle and very colorful gardens joining the bizarre facilities together, one of which appears to be a domed storm or black hole, which would make sense given the new legend this season also introduces.

Also featured in the trailer are hovering Trident vehicles used to get around the platform, and the new legend Horizon who can place anti-gravity fields and black holes, and adds some Scottish sass to the line-up.

The song used in the Apex Legends Season 7 trailer is Ain't Our Time To Die by Dorothy, and suits the action pretty well in our opinion. The map, and vehicles, look like they'll add fresh ways to play the free-to-play battle royale when Apex Legends Season 7 launches on November 4.

Are you excited to drop into Apex Legends' new map Olympus and explore all its bizarre attractions? Or are you more interested in that gravity-defying new legend?
