Left 4 Dead is back! Well, sort of. During The Game Awards developer Turtle Rock studio announced that they’re returning to the co-op zombie shooter genre with Back 4 Blood. The full game is due to release next year, but a Back 4 Blood closed alpha is on the way this week. If you want to take part, all you need to do is a sign up and hope to get a code. To join the Back 4 Blood closed alpha you’ll need to head over to the relevant website and register using your email address, internet speed, and platform of choice. Currently, the platform of choice for testing is PC, so you’ll need to have a Steam account. In addition the closed alpha is only available to those in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

- Enter your email address
- Select your internet speed from the drop down list (click here to test your speed)
- Click Steam as platform of choice
