The good news is that the game supports full crossplay, so you can partner up with pals no matter what platform you’re on.

To play with friends in Back 4 Blood, you need to start in the Fort Hope lobby area. From here you’ll be able to invite and add friends to join you in a campaign run. Here are the steps required to invite a friend in Back 4 Blood:

Thankfully the cross-platform steps for Back 4 Blood are also very simple. From the same Party menu as above, you need to click the Add Friends button in the top right. In the central box, you’ll now need to enter the Back 4 Blood friends name that player is using.

Your Back 4 Blood friends name is visible right next to the Add Friends button. Either tell yours to your mate or have them tell you theirs. You’ll need to enter the full name, including the hashtag and numbers that follows it. If you enter the name correctly, your friend will receive an invite in the Friends Request tab on the same menu. Once accepted, they’ll show up on your B4B friends list, no matter what platform they’re playing on.
