To dye armor Horizon Forbidden West you need to visit a dyer merchant in one of Horizon Forbidden West’s major settlements, such as Scalding Spear or Plainsong. They’re indicated by a mortar and pestle icon, so can be easily located on the map.

Speak with a dyer merchant and you’ll be able to check the available alternate colors available for all armor sets you currently own. Some armors have lots of colors available, while others can’t be changed at all.
