Ubisoft decided to try something different with their new Trials of the Blood Dragon video game this week. Starting on July 22nd, they challenged players to download the PC demo of the game and finish it with less than 15 faults. Completing this challenge rewards you with free access to the complete PC version of the game.
Trials of the Blood Dragon is an offbeat mashup of the platformer motorcycle racing game, Trials, and the action adventure FPS, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. It takes place in the year 2019 and boasts an eclectic plot that includes war zones in Vietnam and a trip to outer space. The full game features thirty levels of colorful action-packed fun and a pretty awesome soundtrack with an 80’s synth-pop feel.
This deal allows gamers to try out the newly released title without making a monetary commitment, and may also combat some of the mixed reviews Trials of the Blood Dragon has received upon its release. To find the demo, look under Free Games within your Uplay library.
Ubisoft has stated that the deal will only be available to players until July 31st, and only applies to the PC version of the game.
