Developer ustwo Games has officially launched Monument Valley 2, the sequel to their award-winning geometry-based puzzle game, Monument Valley. Here’s an official description of Monument Valley 2 courtesy of ustwo Games:
“Guide a mother and her child as they embark on a journey through magical architecture, discovering illusionary pathways and delightful puzzles as you learn the secrets of the Sacred Geometry.”
According to the game’s official website, Monument Valley 2 features a standalone story, which means you don’t have to have played the first game in order to understand what’s going on in the sequel.
However, while the story may be new, Monument Valley 2 has more of the same architecture-flipping puzzles and soothing, meditative music that made its predecessor such a hit.
Monument Valley 2 is available now for both iPhone and iPad at a $4.99 price point via the iTunes Store.
