Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 2 is just around the corner, making its way from the upside-down on October 27th. Fans can reacquaint themselves with Eleven and the gang in Stranger Things: The Game, the latest mobile title from BonusXP.
In Stranger Things: The Game, players join Hopper and the kids for a new adventure, appropriately set within a retro 8-bit version of Hawkins in 1984. You’ll visit familiar locations from the show, such as Mirkwood Forest, as well as discover exciting new places that contain dark secrets. The characters each possess unique abilities that help them solve puzzles and collect Eggo waffles. Even Nancy has an endless supply of bats at her disposal.
Stranger Things: The Game is available now for Android and iOS devices, via Google Play and the App Store, respectively. The best part is, the game is totally free, so it’s definitely worth trying out if you’re a die-hard Stranger Things fan.
Stranger Things: The Game launched on October 3rd and has mostly positive reviews so far. There’s no word yet on whether this retro adventure will make its way to other platforms like PC or Nintendo Switch, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes.
