The insanely popular battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds launched on Xbox One earlier this week via the Xbox Game Preview program. To commemorate PUBG’s console debut, Microsoft has announced a special holiday promotion that lets you get PUBG for free with the purchase of an Xbox One X console for a limited time.

Starting on December 17, those who buy an Xbox One X console in eligible regions will receive a free digital download code for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. This limited-time promotion will wrap up at the end of the month on December 31.
The console version of PUBG is currently available in early access via the Xbox Game Preview program, which allows players to test out game features and provide feedback on the game as it develops. The Xbox One X costs $499 USD, and with the bundle promotion you’ll save $30 on PUBG.
