Blizzard just surprise launched a completely new competitive event on Overwatch players, featuring 6v6 Elimination play. This event exists outside of the current competitive play, and will run until May 8.
You can join in by selecting the Competitive Elimination card in the Arcade. All the maps are available.
As the name suggests, this is a team deathmatch mode pitting squads of six players against each other. Here's the twist: Lockout is activated, meaning that the winning team in each round must choose all new heroes for the next match. No more relying on your favorites and spamming your prefered attacks!
Overwatch's Retribution PVE event is also still ongoing, and will remain live until April 30.
