Space Monkey Program: Beyond Good & Evil 2 adding fan content

Your art and music could be added to Beyond Good & Evil 2 through the Space Monkey Program and the platform HitRecord.

At the Ubisoft E3 2018 press conference, new information for Beyond Good & Evil 2 was unveiled alongside a brand new cinematic trailer. Once the excitement simmered down, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt took to the stage to introduce HitRecord and the Space Monkey Program.

With HitRecord platform, you can collaborate on art and music with other creators, which may then be incorporated into the game. According to Beyond Good & Evil 2 producer Guillaume Brunier, people will get paid for their contributions and will be able to monetize their work.

So, in addition to seeing your content in a game like Beyond Good & Evil 2, you'll also be compensated for the effort.

"We want to have players contribute more to our games and have communities creating and contributing together," explained Brunier. "We are going to have the community make assets for the game. We're going to start with music and images."
