This guide will cover all of the Consumable items in World of Tanks and inform you of best combat practices when using them.
In World of Tanks, you are able to purchase all manner of tank-related modules and equipment, with the most obvious being new guns and tank pieces. However, one of the most important items in the game are Consumables, a single-use item (except for certain Consumables) that will have an immediate effect on your tank.
Consumables come in two distinct forms: Regular Consumables and Premium Consumables. Regular Consumables are low-cost and only fix or repair a single element of your tank, whereas Premium Consumables are high-cost and fix or repair all related elements of your tank. For example, the Small Repair Kit can only fix one module, while a Large Repair Kit will fix all modules.
You are also limited to carrying three Consumables and no two Consumables can be the same. However, you can carry a Small Repair Kit and a Large Repair Kit.
Regular Consumables

Regular Consumables cost between 3,000 and 5,000 Credits and are the cheaper version of Premium Consumables. Regular Consumables typically only fix one damaged, broken, or injured module or crew member in your tank.
For new players, it is often a good idea to use Regular Consumables for the first few tiers or until you’ve got a better grasp of how World of Tanks works. The reason behind this being that Consumables can be extremely expensive to replace and will simply eat away at your earnings if used carelessly.
Small Repair Kit
Costing 3,000 Credits, the Small Repair Kit is a one-use Consumable in World of Tanks that will completely fix one damaged or broken module on a tank during combat.
Using a Small Repair Kit is as simple as pressing the button it is assigned to, then pressing the number assigned to the module you wish to repair.
Small First Aid Kit
For 3,000 Credits, the Small First Aid Kit Consumable will heal an injured or dead crew member. If more than one crew member is incapacitated, you will need to choose which one to heal.
Some crew members are more important than others, so it’s not always necessary to heal or revive a fallen crew member.
Manual Fire Extinguisher
The Manual Fire Extinguisher Consumable in World of Tanks will set you back 3,000 Credits and allows you to extinguish a fire that has started on your tank. Keep in mind that, no matter how fast you are, your tank will always sustain one tick of fire damage.
100-Octane Gasoline

Stepping up in price to 5,000 Credits, the 100-Octane Gasoline increases your tank’s engine power and turret traverse speed by 5% for a single match. As soon as the match starts, this will be consumed.
The 100-Octane Gasoline is only available for the American, British, German, and French vehicles that are equipped with gasoline engines.
Lend-Lease Oil
Costing 5,000 Credits, the Lend-Lease Oil only increases the engine power by 5% for a single battle. Much like the 100-Octane, it is consumed at the start of the match. This is only available on Soviet Union vehicles.
Quality Oil

Removed Speed Governor
The Removed Speed Governor is a Consumable in World of Tanks that costs 3,000 Credits and is unique in its activation. The Removed Speed Governor isn’t consumed, it is switched on-and-off via its respective key.
Activating the Removed Speed Governor will add 10% to your tank’s engine power at the cost of continued engine damage while activated. This increases your tank’s acceleration, but be aware, you will have to front the cost of engine repairs after the battle. The Removed Speed Governor will also, when used in excess, completely destroy your engine.
This Consumable is only for use on Soviet and Chinese vehicles and will stack with the effects of the Lend-Lease Oil and Quality Oil. It can be a good idea to bring a Repair Kit with you in the event your engine burns out.
Premium Consumables

Premium Consumables are a high-end Consumable that costs 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits, and as such are one of the many benefits of purchasing Gold supplies. These Consumables are superior to Regular Consumables as they fix, repair, or heal all modules or crew members in a vehicle.
While Premium Consumables are ideal for skilled players, they can also be useful for new players who know how and when to use them. For instance, a new player can benefit greatly from the passive effects of some Premium Consumables by simply letting the Consumable sit in the slot during a battle.
Large Repair Kit
The Large Repair Kit is a Premium Consumable in World of Tanks and therefore can be purchased with either 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits.
When used, the Large Repair Kit will fix all damaged or broken tank modules. This is extremely useful when more than one module is damaged during a fight.
The Large Repair Kit also has a passive when sitting in your Consumable slot: it will increase your crew’s repair speed by 10%. It can be a good idea to simply have a Large Repair Kit in your inventory and let your crew repair your tank manually. Using the Large Repair Kit will remove this passive.
Large First Aid Kit
Like the Large Repair Kit, the Large First Aid Kit is a Premium Consumable, meaning it costs 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits.
Using the Large First Aid Kit will heal all injured or dead crew members. When sitting in your Consumable slots during a battle, the Large Repair Kit will boost your crew’s passive resistance to penetration shots by 15% – making them harder to kill. In the most recent update, the Large First Aid Kit was given an additional passive that reduces stun duration by 5%.
These passives will disappear once the Large First Aid Kit is used.
Automatic Fire Extinguisher

The Automatic Fire Extinguisher costs 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits and will automatically activate when a fire breaks out in your tank. The Automatic Fire Extinguisher Consumable has a passive that reduces your chance of catching fire by 10%.
105-Octane Gasoline
Costing 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits, the 105-Octane Gasoline increases your tank’s engine power and turret traverse speed by 10% for a single battle. You do not have to activate this Consumable as it will be automatically consumed at the start of a match.
The 105-Octane Gasoline is only available for use on American, British, German, and French vehicles that use gasoline engines.
One ideal use for the 105-Octane Gasoline is to equip it on the likes of the American Hellcat, one of the most overpowered tanks in the history of World of Tanks and a TD with an interesting history.
Nation-Specific Foods

The following are food Consumables that can be purchased only for their corresponding nation. Each food item is consumed at the start of the match and will last for a single battle.
Nation-specific food Consumables add 10% to the training level of all roles and skills, as well as diminishing returns to perks. Even a crew member with 100% training receives the buff. This Consumable in World of Tanks makes your crew members more effective during battle.
Each of the following costs 50 Gold or 20,000 Credits to purchase: Extra Combat Rations for the Russians, Case of Cola for the Americans, Chocolate for the Germans, Pudding and Tea for the British, Strong Coffee for the French, Improved Combat Rations for the Chinese, Onigiri for the Japanese, Buchty for the Czechoslovakians, and Coffee with Cinnamon Buns for the Swedish.
