Howdy, tankers! Welcome back to another installment of Top World of Tanks GIFs of the Week. Each week, we browse the World of Tanks subreddit for our favorite GIFs and clips that have been posted over the past seven days or so, then compile them here for you to enjoy.
We’re also open to submissions if you’ve got a particularly funny or awesome World of Tanks GIF of your own that you'd like to share. If we like it, we may use it in our series in the future. We simply ask that you upload your video clip to Gfycat to create a GIF, then send us the link via Facebook or Twitter. Gfycat is the format we prefer working with, so keeping submissions consistent just makes things easier on our end.
Now, without further ado, let’s check out some of the top World of Tanks GIFs from this week!
Sleeping on the Job
Let’s start off with a GIF that emphasizes the importance of map awareness in World of Tanks. This clip was posted to the World of Tanks subreddit by Surpenttine, who appears to be the player in the GIF as well.
In the clip, Serpenttine rolls up behind a lone T29 on the hill on Himmelsdorf. The T29 continues to aim off in the distance, seemingly unaware that an opponent has just pulled up behind them. Serpenttine proceeds to shove them off the edge of the cliff using their LTG, earning some easy ramming and wrecking damage and leaving the T29 to ponder what just happened.
Between a Rock and a Friendly Place
Things don’t usually end well for players who flip their tank over in World of Tanks. However, if you’re lucky, you’ll have a helpful ally on your team like the one in this next GIF.
Upon noticing a toppled teammate, the player in this GIF demonstrates how to use a nearby rock to prop up their turtled ally and get them back on their tracks. This is the abridged version, but in the full clip, the player scoots their flipped teammate over to the rock first before pushing them right-side-up. Geronimo!
This next GIF was posted by ChocoboCloud69 on the World of Tanks subreddit. Despite the GIF being off-center and somewhat laggy, you can still make out most of the player’s impressive Evel-Knievel-inspired jump.
The GIF shows a player launching their E25 off a cliffside, miraculously landing on and crushing an enemy G. W. Panther down below. It looks as though several players were trying their best to secure the final kill on this lone arty, but it was ChocoboCloud69 who lined up their tank perfectly and stuck their landing.

You’re Gonna Flip
Pushing and shoving seems to be a recurring theme in this week’s Top World of Tanks GIFs. Following suit, the next pair of GIFs showcase two tankers who risked receiving a bit of ramming damage to effectively tackle and flip their opponents to death instead.
The first GIF shows a player named SirClone who seizes the opportunity to ram the last enemy arty to death. They didn’t stop at ramming, though. After smacking into an enemy Pz. Sfl. IVb, the M8A1 player proceeds to push the arty down the hill, causing them to roll several times after being destroyed.

Since this next GIF features a tank-flipping scenario similar to the previous clip, we decided to include it here as well. This GIF shows a T-54 taking advantage of an unsuspecting Swede by pushing over the enemy Udes 03 from behind and destroying them.

When the Irony is Just Right
Rather than a GIF, we’re finishing off this week with a Twitch clip posted by a user named Ukiah on the World of Tanks subreddit. The clip features a Twitch streamer named SmyleeRage, who ironically runs into a pole while talking about how he’s coached unicum players in the past. The streamer takes the mishap in stride, however, taking a moment to make light of the situation by doing a mock pole dance in their tank.
