Since launching into early access, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been consistently rolling out updates that include bug fixes and new weapons. The June update added Groza assault rifle, as well as the Glock 18-C pistol. This guide will go over how to find the Groza in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds so you can try out this new assault rifle for yourself.
According to the June 2017 monthly update patch notes, the Groza assault rifle uses 7.62mm ammo and can only be obtained through air-dropped Care Packages. Care Packages are loot drops flown to the island via aircraft that contain random equipment such as weapons, gear, or ammunition.
If you hear a supply plane buzzing overhead, keep an eye on where it’s going and try to get to the air drop package before other players do. Keep in mind that your opponents may have the same idea, so be prepared for a fight around the Care Package location.
Although the Groza would typically have a grenade launcher attachment in real life, the Groza in PUBG will not have such an attachment. Other than the ammo type and crate spawn, very little is known about the Groza assault rifle in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds just yet. We will update this article once we learn more about the gun’s stats and capabilities. If the Groza is worth its salt, perhaps it will be added to our list of the best guns in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
