We’re 20 weeks into our Top World of Tanks GIFs of the Week series! Time flies when you’re laughing at tanks, I suppose. If you’d like to take a trip down memory lane, we’ve also recently made a list of the best World of Tanks GIFs from the first half of 2017 that you might enjoy.
For those who are unfamiliar with this series, this is where we feature a handful of World of Tanks GIFs that we’ve found online over the past week and compile them here for you to enjoy. The clips used here mainly come from the subreddit and will be credited as such. Since there were slim pickin’s for GIFs this week, we tossed in a few Twitch clips as well.
If you’ve got an awesome World of Tanks GIF, we simply ask that you upload your video clip to Gfycat to create a GIF, then send us the link via Facebook or Twitter. Gfycat is the format we prefer working with, so keeping submissions consistent just makes things easier on our end. Now, let’s get cracking on the top World of Tanks GIFs of Week 20!
There’s Two Kinds of World of Tanks Players…

This first GIF shows what a good day and a bad day can look like in World of Tanks, in just a matter of seconds. As a pair of platoonmates roll across the bridge on Paris, one player pops an intimidating shot into the nearby pillar, while the other follows up with a shot that destroys an enemy in the distance, dealing over 1.8k damage. At least someone took care of that pesky enemy pillar!
You Only Get One Shot
Obliterating opponents with a single shot is always satisfying, especially when that shot dishes out more than 1,000 damage. This next clip from ProperLedge does just that.
Just after requesting fire on an enemy T110E5, ProperLedge quickly follows up with a shot that wipes the T110E5 player off the map from nearly full health. Part of what made this possible was a lesser shot made by the TVP next to him, which chipped off just enough damage (possibly on the ammo rack) on the unsuspecting T110E5 for ProperLedge to finish them off with a bang.

How to Stick a Landing
Our favorite World of Tanks GIF this week showcases a courageous TVP doing a bellyflop onto an unsuspecting Skorpion G. The player, who goes by havenoanylogin on the World of Tanks subreddit, captured their bellyflop in all its glory in the GIF below.
Overlord happens to be a really good map for doing swan dives off the cliffs. There’s usually a few tanks on the beach below that stay close to the cliffside for cover, and this often sets up some nice opportunities for glorious goomba-stomps and bellyflops like this one. What’s even more impressive is that the TVP survived the fall. Now that’s how you end a match!

Put Away Your Toys
Rather than a GIF, instead we’ve got this amusing Twitch clip of WGL EU player Schockisch. While sandwiched between two enemy tanks, Schockisch begins to reverse into one of them, pushing them into the remains of a rusted building nearby. With the enemy Conqueror trapped, Schockisch can finish dealing with the enemy Type 5 Heavy in front of him. What’s interesting is just how perfectly snug the enemy Conqueror fit into the busted house, almost like it was meant to be.

The Shark Tank
Our final clip this week is another Twitch clip, this time from the livestream of the beloved JunkersHiryu. Just a forewarning, you might want to turn the volume down if you’re sensitive to loud shrieks.
While driving the Lorraine 40t, JunkersHiryu taps into his inner shark by submerging his tank in a pond on Fiery Salient. Apparently, this was a mistake, as Junker pulls their tank up just moments before swallowing too much water. If only there were amphibious tanks in World of Tanks…oh, the possibilities!
