Questionable physics, luck, and confused enemies are as prominent as ever in this week’s edition of GIFs of the Week. Check out last week’s article for some classic Russian bias and more.
Comrades Stick Together
Sapih finds himself in an awkward situation facing off against the largest calibre gun in the game (excluding SPG’s), before his comrade in the other IS-7 saves him from a nasty hit. What do you mean he was an enemy? The only enemy I see is this Capitalist pig!
Swedish Mating Call
Here we see a perfect example of the Swedish Stridsvagn’s mating call. As GhostShadow3088 - a renowned Strvidsvagnologist - describes, “Due to their relatively short lifespans and periods of docility the STRVs have developed a most unique mating ritual. Due to their asexual orientations, the roles in mating are determined by shows of strength. Each STRV attempts to flip the other in order to immobilize it during the mating process”.
Here we find Haarmless approached by a wild Vetro before they begin their brief skirmish. With Haarmless acting as the victor he’s able to continue after a short break. Vetro, on the otherhand, is not so lucky, and will die in order to act as a host for the offspring… in about 30 seconds.
Chinese Bias
CluelessMuffin and his platoon mate give an enemy Tiger 2 a quick reminder that he’s out of meta, and what better way to do so than to slam two 122mm shells into its hull as confirmation that German accuracy is nothing compared to the blessing of Chairman Mao.
Poor Tiger 2, lost to the sands of time with no buffs in sight. It gets better at the E 75.
Turretless Tier 8 TD’s – The ultimate counter to Tier 10 Lights
As the title suggests, CluelessMuffin is at it again, this time driving the clunky Tier 8 French Tank Destroyer the AMX AC 48. You’d normally consider yourself flat out of luck when you accidently bump into a full health Tier 10 Light Tank packing a top speed of 72 km/h, a power-to-weight ratio of 48 hp/t, and exceptional effective traverse speeds on all terrain in your turretless, half-health Tier 8 Tank Destroyer with paper-thin side armor, but that doesn’t apply when your adversary seems to be drunk or confused.
Throwing away his entire tank after managing to penetrate this elusive muffin once, I imagine this T-100 driver promptly closed down his game client before hanging his head in shame. We’ll put it down to bad ping.
The Barn Strikes Back
Finishing off with a Twitch.tv clip rather than a GIF, pompous_magnus displays his marksmanship with the laser-beam accuracy of the FV4005. I can guarantee you there’s absolutely no luck involved in this clip whatsoever, and the FV’s renowned British accuracy will work 99.9% of the time.
