Top 5 World of Tanks Plays of The Week - Week 29

Some of the new, some of the old. Whether it’s hilarious antics from the new 9.20 Patch, or the same occurrences we see… far more often than we should in Random Battles, we once again have it all.

In case you can’t get enough of these ridiculous happenings, check out last week’s edition.

Waffentrager auf Foch B

Anyone who remembers the old Waffentrager E 100’s brutal clip potential will likely be panicking about the AMX 50 Foch B right about now, and Halmyradov doesn’t help with that as he deletes the entirety of a Type 4 Heavy, followed by almost the entirety of a Strv 103-0.

Personally, I’m happy that the Foch 155 was replaced with something better, as it was widely agreed upon that the Tank was pretty lack luster to say the least. I truly hope this doesn’t turn out to be too good, like the WT auf E 100. It's too early to determine exactly how strong the Foch B will be, but time will tell.

Snap Shots of Stalin

In this clip, Expertipal demonstrates you can’t beat a good old dose of Russian bias as he picks up his Radley-Walter’s medal for his 8th kill of the game with the most 122mm-esque snap shot you’ve ever seen… with 0 seconds left on the clock. You call it luck, I’d put money on Wargaming intentionally programming bias into their game! No conspiracies here.

Baguette Bias!

Milkym4n, our Custom Tank Skin-making God, tests out his new AMX 50 Foch B by clipping out the entirety of a freshly-buffed IS-7’s 2400 hitpoints. But the victim is a Russian Tank, killed by a French Tank? Wargaming will have to bug test more thoroughly in the future – this mistake will be fixed by next week. /s

Gold Noob!

Lemming Rush, evidently some tomato disguised as a Unicum, spends 5 minutes of the battle in his M48 Patton (and Tank with phenomenal gun handling stats) dumping 26 shells (17 of which being HEAT) at enemy vehicles at medium range… and manages to penetrate a whole 4 shells while doing so. GG, stick to lower Tiers noob. No RNG involved here.

Sniping O-Ho, Hidden UDES.

Riipa demonstrates why camping in the exact same spot game after game in your Swedish Tank Destroyers might not be the best idea ever when there are prowling O-Ho’s about. This one felt really good to watch – something about those laser-beam, red-line hugging Swedish TD’s melting through your armor like butter every time there’s an open map is irrationally frustrating. Who needs to see their enemy to destroy them?

Well, that sums it up for this week’s edition of World of Tanks Plays of The Week. If you have any clips you want featured in a future edition, send them into our Facebook or Twitter. Alternatively, throw your submission on the World of Tanks subreddit and pray the Karma Gods are kind enough to get your post through to my attention, and I could potentially find it for myself.
