Whopping Battlefront 2 patch fixes all sorts of issues

DICE has issued the first official patch for Star Wars Battlefront 2, fixing a myriad different issues across the game, including some pretty annoying bugs.

Notable issues you may have come across include saves being deleted if the game is loaded without controllers attached (oof), Rey missing her lightsaber and killstreaks being incorrectly calculated in Starfighter Assault.

The full patch notes are on the official forums, and we've also reproduced them below.

"This first patch is specifically focused on issues we found during the later stage of development, as well as addressing some critical gameplay and user interface problems across the game," says a note from the Battlefront 2 Live Team.

"We have also made major improvements to our game's stability and performance across all platforms to make the gameplay experience better for everyone.

"Rest assured, we will focus strongly on improving the game based on the feedback we get from everyone in our community in our upcoming patches."

The patch should be available on all platforms.
