In Destiny 2: Forsaken, players have the unique opportunity to go hunting for Dead Ghosts across a variety of different locations. According to information from “The Light” in the Triumph, Destiny 2: Forsaken has a total of 21 Dead Ghosts.
If you’re a collectible hunter, or are simply looking for other things to do in Destiny 2: Forsaken, tracking down the location of all Dead Ghosts is certainly an option. To help get you started, we put together a quick guide on all of the Dead Ghost locations in Destiny 2: Forsaken!
All Dead Ghost Locations in Destiny 2: Forsaken

- Pressure: To start off, there’s a Dead Ghost hidden at the beginning of the first Destiny 2: Forsaken story mission. Before heading to the first door, turn left and enter the underground room to find your first Dead Ghost in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
- To Map the Unknown: A Dead Ghost can be found inside the room where the newest vendor of Destiny 2: Forsaken, the Spider, is located. In the room to your left, inspect a crate across from where Petra Venj usually hangs out to find this Dead Ghost.
- Whether Windmills or Cranes: A Dead Ghost can be found on the right side of a cliff at the end of the Kingship Dock Lost Sector. If you’re having trouble finding it, inspect some of the area’s docking machinery.
- Who Guards the Guardians: A Dead Ghost can be found in a corner near the Wolfship Turbine Lost Sector inside a room that also contains a Chest.
- Ghosthunter: At the entrance to the Shipyard AWO-43 Lost Sector located in the Jetsam of Saturn, you’ll spot another Dead Ghost in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
- Batteries Not Included: A Dead Ghost can be found in The Cobble on top of a floating rock which you can jump down onto.
- The We Before Us: During this story mission, a Dead Ghost can be found inside the Hive Tomb ship within the Hive of the Exalted (also part of the Jetsam of Saturn region).
- From Fallen Ground: On Mercury, head to the Pariah’s Refuge Lost Sector to find a Dead Ghost located on a bookshelf inside a room that also contains a Chest.
- Savin: On Mars, travel to the Core Terminus Lost Sector in Hellas Basin. Here, a Dead Ghost can be found behind the Chest at the end of Lost Sector.
- Protector of Ghosts: In Terrabase Charon, a Dead Ghost is located in the entrance tunnel on top of a suspended grate with yellow and black boxes on top.
- The Watchful Eye: On Titan, a Dead Ghost can be spotted inside one of the rooms frequented by either Servitor or Hive Knight.
- Into the Fray: To find your next Dead Ghost, head to the DS Quarters-2 Lost Sector on Titan. In the room with a Chest, you’ll spot a Dead Ghost hiding in the back corner on a shelf.
- Confessions of Hope: Another Dead Ghost can either be found via patrol on Titan, or during the initial stages of the Savanthun strike. Here, you'll want to continue down the area path until you find an open door on your left. Inside, you'll find the Dead Ghost.
- Difference of Opinion: A Dead Ghost is located in the Sanctum of Bones Lost Sector in the Rupture region of IO. Here, you’ll enter a large room with an outcropping in the center. Climb this outcropping to collect your next Dead Ghost.
- Ghost Community Theater Presents: In The Rupture reason, head to the Aphix Conduit Lost Sector. At the end of this sector, there are three pillars and a chest. By jumping on top of the tallest pillar, you'll be able to find a Dead Ghost.
- No Rez for the Weary: Another Dead Ghost can be found in the Quarry Lost Sector within the Sunken Isles. When in this area, continue heading right. You’ll eventually crawl through an opening into a section with a lamp, and near this lamp, is a Dead Ghost.
- Compliments: A Dead Ghost is located inside the Drain Lost Sector in the Outskirts area of EDZ on Earth. Make your way to the boss room and note that on your left is a room with a Chest. However, you’ll want to head towards the back right corner and up a flight of stairs to spot the Dead Ghost.
- Don't Call Me Ghost: Another Dead Ghost can be found in the Sludge region within the Shaft 13 Lost Sector. Here, you'll want to jump onto the angled catwalk located above the first enemy area. Then, push your way past a series of barrels and in the right corner, you should be able to spot an open locker door. Investigate the locker to spot the area's Dead Ghost.
