Reports that the Belgium Gaming Commission has made firm declarations about Star Wars Battlefront 2's loot boxes were apparently wide of the mark.
Yesterday we and many other outlets reported on comments from a spokesperson for the organization in which he appeared to condemn the loot boxes after a week of investigation.
However, a new translation - as reported by VG247 - suggests these were just comments from a minister rather than official condemnation from the Belgium Gaming Commission.
In other words, EA DICE is left waiting to see what they get when the Belgium Gaming Commission cracks the seal on its eventual report. Hopefully commission report RNG is better than Battlefront 2's loot boxes, eh?
