Battlefield 1 Turning Tides available today for Premium Pass owners

Battlefield 1 Premium Pass owners will be able to get their hands on the first tranche of Turning Tides expansion content today, including two new maps and a new Operation.

Here's a quick rundown of everything going live today:

The new maps will be the highlight for many. Cape Helles sees you storming the beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula with the allied powers or defending the Ottoman Empire's fortifications. Achi Babe is a more infantry-focused setting, featuring a joint allied assault on a hilltop position in the Gallipoli peninsula. The new Operation ties these together so you're taking in the whole British amphibious assault of 1915.

The second wave of content hits in January, with another two maps, a new faction - the British Royal Marines - and a new vehicle, the C-Class Airship. The first of the maps is Heligoland Bight, a naval clash between the British Empire Royal Marines and German Navy in which dreadnoughts, destroyers and aircraft fight one another while infantry tussle on the red cliffs of Rocky Cove. The second is Zeebrugge, where the British are raiding a Belgian port of Bruges-Zeebrugge.

As with other BF1 content, Premium Pass owners get a two-week head start with Turning Tides. When that period is complete for the January content, Turning Tides will go on sale as a standalone expansion.

If you haven't picked a Premium Pass yet, it's $49.99 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, while the Battlefield 1 Revolution pack - comprising the base game and Premium Pass content - is just $59.99. The content is also available on PC through Origin.
