If you’re wondering what the incentive is to infuse your weapons, infusing weapons gives them added efficacy in battle.

For example, you can infuse them to increase damage, or add effects like poison. Confused? We’ve got you covered! Below, we’ve put together a quick guide explaining how to infuse weapons in Cadence of Hyrule.

In Cadence of Hyrule, a common question that players have is how to infuse weapons. To infuse your weapons, you’ll need to find and visit a Fairy Fountain. Fairy Fountains are located at random in Cadence of Hyrule. You’ll know you’ve found a Fairy Fountain as the shop layout will look different. Only two items will be available for purchase at a Fairy Fountain shop, and both items will cost you Diamonds.

Each of the items for sale in a Fairy Fountain shop represent a weapon infusion. As of right now, there are four different weapon infusions available in Cadence of Hyrule as listed below.

  • Emerald: A weapon infusion that adds Poison Damage.
  • Ruby: A weapon infusion that adds Life Drain damage.
  • Obsidian: A weapon infusion that adds Multiplier Damage.
  • Titanium: A weapon infusion that increases damage output by 1.

Most weapons in Cadence of Hyrule can be infused with one purchased infusion, with the exception of the Caladbolg. Given that the Caladbolg is the best weapon in the game, it makes sense that you’re unable to add a weapon infusion on top of the Caladbolg’s already impressive stats. If you have a Longsword for example, you’re allowed one total weapon infusion in Cadence of Hyrule.

To infuse a weapon, be sure to have it equipped, then approach the weapon infusion gem you wish to purchase. Upon buying the weapon infusion, it will automatically infuse to your equipped weapon. Again, compatible weapons only allow for one total weapon infusion. If you try to purchase a second weapon infusion, your previous infusion will unequip and the newly purchased infusion will take its place.

Overall, weapon infusions can be a fun way to customize your favorite weapons to your unique playstyle. If you like how Poison Damage works, you may want to equip one of your weapons with the Emerald weapon infusion. Alternatively, if you already have the Caladbolg, you may be able to get away with ignoring weapon infusions altogether.
