All Gnome Locations in Stranger Things 3: The Game

In Stranger Things 3: The Game, there are 50 collectible Gnomes hidden in various different locations. As added incentive for finding them, a stranger in a nondescript house will let you open chests for every 10 Gnomes you collect, meaning you’ll be able to earn 5 chest rewards by collecting all 50 Gnomes. While some Gnomes are easy to find, others are far more challenging. What’s more, some Gnomes require you to unlock a particular character, or reach a certain point in the campaign before you can collect them. To make the process easier, we’ve put together a guide on where you can find all 50 Gnome locations in Stranger Things 3: The Game!

All Gnome Locations in Stranger Things 3: The Game

As noted above, the incentive for finding Gnomes in Stranger Things 3: The Game is the rewards you receive. For every 10 Gnomes you find, you'll be able to open a special rewards chest located inside a "nondescript house" in the Hawkins Suburbs area. This house can be found at the bottom left corner of the map and has a fenced-in pool area to the left. 

After you enter the house, a stranger hidden behind a door will ask for your help in finding their Gnomes. In a room to the right of the closed door, you'll find 5 rewards chests. The rewards inside of these chests vary. For example, we received crafting supplies after opening our first chest, though we have no doubt the rewards will increase in value as you get closer to the 5th and final chest.

Gnome #1 - Johnny

Location: Mike's House (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #1 is known as "Johnny" and can be found inside Mike's Basement near a boombox and wood table in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #2 - Christine

Location: Hawkins Suburbs

Gnome #2 is known as "Christine" and can be found outside of Mike's House to the left of the front door in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #3 - Doc

Location: Starcourt Mall

Gnome #3 is known as "Doc" and can be found in a corner near a pair of Russian guards towards the side (back) entrace round the left of Starcourt Mall in Stranger Things 3: The Game. Smash the boxes here to find it.

Gnome #4 - Indiana

Location: Hawkins Pool (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #4 is called "Indiana" and can be found in the Hawkins Pool area to the upper right near the Storage Shed in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #5 - Chunk

Location: Weathertop

Gnome #5 is known as "Chunk" and can be found in the Weathertop area. To get this Gnome, you'll need to work your way through the game's story until you reach the part where Dustin and the gang return to Weathertop to communicate via Cerebro. You'll need to travel through another underground Russian bunker, with one door leading you out to a remote clearing that contains Gnome #5 in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #6 - Elvis

Location: Hawkins Square

Gnome #6 is called "Elvis" and can be found right outside the entrance to the Hawkins Public Library (Hawkins Square) in Stranger Things 3: The Game. Look behind the large tree to the left of the entrance.

Gnome #7 - Jack

Location: Hawkins Library (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #7 is called "Jack" and can be found inside of Hawkins Public Library in Stranger Things 3: The Game. Fight your way past the goons here to reach the end of the library and you'll find it in the final room.

Gnome #8 - Flynn

Location: Starcourt Mall

Gnome #8 is called "Flynn" and can be found in the parking lot of the Starcourt Mall in Stranger Things 3: The Game. Head left from the entrance to find it.

Gnome #9 - David

Location: Weathertop

Gnome #9 is known as "David" and can be found as you explore the Weathertop area in Chapter 1 of Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #10 - Baskin

Location: Starcourt Mall

Gnome #10 is fittingly known as "Baskin" and can be found behind the counter of Scoops Ahoy inside the Starcourt Mall area of Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #11 - McDonald

Location: Driscoll Farm

Gnome #11 is called "McDonald" and can be found, appropriately, at Driscoll Farm behind Mrs. Driscoll's house near the large maze full of rats in Stranger Things 3: The Game. You'll need to use Lucas' special attack ot make it through the boulders.

Gnome #12 - Clint

Location: Melvald's General Store (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #12 is called "Clint" and can be found at Melvald's General Store. To get it, you'll first need to unlock Joyce and add her to your party in order to open the door to the back of the store using Joyce's Bolt Cutters in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #13 - Marty

Location: Hawkins Hardware (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #13 is called "Marty" and can be found between store shelves in Hawkins Hardware in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #14 - Mikhail

Location: Hawkins Square

Gnome #14 is called "Mikhail" and can be found near Town Hall. Destroy the bushes to the right of the entrance to make this Gnome easier to find in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #15 - Denver

Location: Driscoll Farm

Gnome #15 is known as "Denver" and can be found behind the Barn at Driscoll Farm. To get it, you'll need to go through the Barn, then take the side exit in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #16 - Drago

Location: Hess Farm Underground

Gnome #16 is called "Drago" and can be found in the underground area beneath Hess Farm. This Gnome is located near the area you explore to complete the Four Bears Puzzle and requires you to craft a Makeshift Crank to open a locked door near the top edge of the map in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #17 - Fletch

Location: Abandoned House (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #17 is called "Fletch" and can be found in the Abandoned House in the Hawkins Suburbs. Note that you'll need to unlock Erica in order to crawl through the vent area and reach the computer puzzle that opens the door to the hidden area. The puzzle can be solved by keeping in mind that the number represented by "X" is 7 in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #18 - Christine

Location: Hawkins Suburbs

Gnome #18 is called "Norman" and can be found behind Granny's House in her backyard as you run errands for her in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #19 - Herbert

Location: Granny's House

Gnome #19 is called "Herbert" and can be found inside a secret room in Granny's House. As you run errands for her, you'll be able to open up and explore new parts of her home, do this to grab Gnome #19 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #20 - Burt

Location: Hawkins Pool (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #20 is called "Burt" and can be found behind the Women's Locker Rooms at the Hawkins Community Pool. Note that you'll first need to unlock Joyce as a playable character and use her Bolt Cutters to access this area in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #21 - Seth

Location: Flower Shop (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #21 is known as "Seth" and can be found in the Flower Shop building in Hawkins Square. To reach Gnome #21, you'll need to first unlock Erica in order to crawl through the vent in the back after opening the door by solving a special puzzle. To solve the puzzle, the rat statue needs to face the sink, the bear statue needs to face the plants. 

Gnome #22 - Rutger

Location: Hawkins Pool (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #22 is called "Rutger" and can be found inside the Women's Locker Room of the Hawkins Community Pool in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #23 - Cruise

Location: Circuit Shed Store (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #23 is called "Cruise" and can be found inside of the Circuit Shed store. Note that you can't grab this Gnome until you unlock Joyce as a playable character as you'll need her Bolt Cutters to get into the back area. Also, you can't walk in the path of the security cameras, so you'll need to time the beams and walk between them in order to reach this Gnome in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #24 - Charles

Location: Hawkins Lab

Gnome #24 is called "Charles" and can be found early on in your exploration of Hawkins Lab. To reach it, you'll need to unlock Erica and use her to crawl through a vent. after taking the first set of stairs. You'll also need to solve a quick lever puzzle in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #25 - Kitt

Location: Hawkins Lab

Gnome #25 is called "Kitt" and can be found outside the entrance to Hawkins Lab, by the fence up towards the left in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #26 - Huey

Location: Hawkins Lab

Gnome #26 is known as "Huey" and is located inside Hawkins Lab and can be found after you're tasked with catching an intruder. After defeating a gang of thugs, chase the intruder through a door and immediately in front of you by a computer terminal, you'll find Gnome #26 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #27 - Falco

Location: Hawkins Suburbs

Gnome #27 is called "Falco" and can be found around the back of the fence behind Dustin’s house in the northwest of Hawkins Suburbs. You need to travel around the south end of the fence and up past the back of the house to reach it.

Gnome #28 - Glenn

Location: Hardware Store (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #28 is known as "Glenn" and can be found inside the Hardware Store of Hawkins Square. Note that you'll need to unlock Eria in order to shimmy through a vent hidden behind a pile of rats in Stranger Things 3: The Game.  

Gnome #29 - Sonja

Location: Max's House (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #29 is named "Sonja" and can be found behind Max's House in her backyard as you search for a way into Billy's Room in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #30 - Ripley 

Location: Town Hall (Hawkins Square) 

Gnome #30 is called "Ripley" and is located inside Town Hall after you unlock the back office area with Joyce and Hopper in Stranger Things 3: The Game. Note that there are several Gnomes to be found in this office area of Town Hall! 

Gnome #31 - Tony

Location: Town Hall (Hawkins Square) 

Gnome #31 is known as "Tony" and can be found inside the back office area of Town Hall. To find this Gnome, you'll need to unlock the wooden door near the elevator. To do this, look to the left of the elevator on the wall. There, you'll be able to use Dustin's hacking ability to enter a code which unlocks a hidden gym area. Inside, you'll find Gnome #31 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #32 - Charlene

Location: Town Hall (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #32 is known as "Charlene" and can be found inside Town Hall as you investigate the back area for clues left by the Mayor in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #33 - Willie

Location: Town Hall (Hawkins Suburbs) 

Gnome #33 is known as "Willie" and can be found inside the bathroom area as you explore the back offices of Town Hall in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #34 - Arnold

Location: Murray's Warehouse

Gnome #34 is called "Arnold" and can be found outside of Murray's Warehouse. Before you head inside, take a right and hug the fence until you reach the area shown above with Gnome #34 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #35 - Falken

Location: Kill Room (Murray's Warehouse)

Gnome #35 is called "Falken" and can be found inside the Kill Room of Murray's Warehouse. To get it, you'll need to solve the switch puzzle on the wall. To do this, you need to flip switches 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 starting with the switch immediately on your left after you enter the room. When done correctly, Gnome #35 will spawn in the center of the roomin Stranger Things 3: The Game.  

Gnome #36 - Bastion

Location: Downstairs Escalator (Starcourt Mall)

Gnome #36 is called "Bastion" and is located on the lower level of the Starcourt Mall. To find him, you need to look on the right side of the escalator. It's hard to see, but you should be able to interact with Gnome #36 and pick it up in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #37 - Magnum

Location: Hawkins Post (Hawkins Square)

Gnome #37 is known as "Magnum" and can be found inside the Hawkins Post near a set of filing cabinets. Note that you'll need to visit the Hawkins Post to unlock Nancy and Jonathan as playable characters in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #38 - Clara

Location: Mike's House (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #38 is named "Clara" and is found in Mike’s House in Hawkins Suburbs. You'll find it in the corner of the kitchen, near the fridge. It's barely visible, but it's there.

Gnome #39 - Deckard

Location: 2nd Floor (Hospital)

Gnome #39 is named "Deckard" and is located on the second floor of the Hospital. Note that you'll need to have Erica unlocked in order to crawl through the vent and reach the break room area where Gnome #39 is hidden in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #40 - Tommy Lee

Location: Docking Area Underground (Starcourt Mall)

Gnome #40 is called "Tommy Lee" and can be found in the Russian's underground bunker which you access through the docking bay at the Starcourt Mall. To reach it, you'll need to have Erica unlocked, then will need to solve a series of 4-vent puzzles with the first vent being the third vent to the right in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #41 - Adora

Location: Hess Farm (Storage Shed)

Gnome #41 is known as "Adora" and can be found inside the storage shed area outside the Hess Farm house area in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #42 - Samantha

Location: Basement (Hess Farms) 

Gnome #42 is named "Samantha" and can be found in the basement area of Hess Farms. To reach it, you'll first need to unlock Erica, then use her to crawl through the small vent into a hidden room where Gnome #42 hides in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #43 - Alexandre

Location: Dustin's House (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #43 is known as "Alexandre" and can be found inside Dustin's House. To reach it, you'll first need to unlock Erica and use her to crawl through a vent leading into a hidden area in Stranger Things 3: The Game.  

Gnome #44 - Papa Gnome 

Locaion: Women's Locker Rooms (Hawkins Community Pool)

Gnome #44 is called "Papa Gnome" and can be found by backtracking to the Women's Locker Room area of the Hawkins Community Pool. After you unlock Erica, you'll be able to crawl through the vent and reach the other side where Gnome #44 is hidden in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #45 - Gunther

Location: Hawkins Fair

Gnome #45 is called "Gunther" and can be found at Hawkins Fair. To reach him, find a way behind the "Lil' Top" near the vendor stands on the right, head around and up through the trees into the woods. There, you'll spot Gnome #45 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #46 - Tubbs

Location: Max's Parent's Bedroom (Hawkins Suburbs)

Gnome #46 is called "Tubbs" and can be found in Max' Parent's Bedroom. To get it, you'll need to use Erica to crawl through the vent in the bathroom in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #47 - Coleman

Location: Hawkins Fair

Gnome #47 is called "Coleman" and can be found at the Hawkins Fair. To find him, you'll need to earn 10 Tickets, then speak with the man offering to sell you a chance to view the "smallest man alive" in an area hidden by trees. Spend 10 tickets on this, enter the area, and you'll find Gnome #47 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #48 - Slash

Location: Funhouse (Hawkins Fair)

Gnome #48 is called "Slash" and can be found on the first floor of the Funhouse at Hawkins Fair. To reach it, you'll need to travel up, right, up, and then right again into a small room off to the side. There, you'll find Gnome #48 in Stranger Things 3: The Game. 

Gnome #49 - Freddy

Location: Funhouse (Hawkins Fair)

Gnome #49 is called "Freddy" and can be found in the Funhouse area of Hawkins Fair. To reach him, you'll need to make it to the fifth floor of the Funhouse where you interact with clown portraits to solve the Funhouse Puzzle. Before you exit, enter the small room to the right of the green room with juggling clowns on the wall. Inside, you'll find Gnome #49 in Stranger Things 3: The Game.

Gnome #50 - Jareth

Location: Weathertop 

Gnome #50 is known as "Jareth" and can be found in the Weathertop area. To reach him, you'll need to explore the Weathertop storage shed near the beginning of the level area. Note that you'll need to unlock Erica in order to crawl through the vent that leads to the outdoor clearing as seen above in Stranger Things 3: The Game.
