How to sign up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta

We’ve now had our first real look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer, giving as a look at the guns, killstreaks and perks we’ll get to play with when the game releases on October 25. Those who are eager to get involved early will want to sign up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta which kicks off in September. Want to get involved? Here’s how:

How to sign up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta

Ignoring platform exclusivity, there are two stages to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta: Early Acces and Open Beta. The Early Access phase is available only to those who preorder the game (you’ll be sent a code by your supplier). Open Beta is available to everyone, all you need to do is download the beta version from the relevant store on your platform of choice (for PC users, that’s Battle.net).

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta start date depends on your platform of choice. PlayStation users get a head start on everyone else, with the PS4 exclusive beta starting September 12. The rest of the systems —  including crossplay testing — will join in on September 19. Here are the beta dates:

It’s as simple as that to sign up for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta. If you want to get in early, preorder the game.
