Every week in Destiny 2, Xur appears at a random location starting on Friday. At this location, you can speak with Xur and purchase an assortment of Exotic items from him. Given that Xur’s location is random, it can be a pain to have to visit each and every possible spawn location.
What’s more, because Xur serves as Destiny 2’s Exotic goods vendor, it can also be helpful to brush up on the Exotics he has up for sale before you waste time searching for him. During the week of August 30, Xur can be found at one of his signature locations selling an updated array of Exotic armor pieces along with an Exotic weapon.
After September 3, you’ll need to wait until the following Friday to speak with Xur again. At that time, Xur will move to a new location and his inventory will refresh. Where to find Xur in Destiny 2 - August 30, 2019

Xur’s location is on a rotation and changes every week in Destiny 2, though he can typically be found at a few key spots. Starting on Friday, Xur will appear at one of these areas. When you find Xur, you can interact with him to browse through his collection of Exotic gear, with all items available for purchase in exchange for Legendary Shards.
Starting on Friday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST), Xur will be made available to all players as an Exotic goods vendor in Destiny 2. Xur will remain at this location until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (PST), 1:00 p.m. (EST), and 6:00 p.m. (BST) and won’t reappear until the following Friday at the same time.
During the week of August 30, Xur can be found on Titan in The Rig. To get to Xur, you’ll need to spawn on Titan, then head towards the Landing Zone. Near the edge of the platform you’ll spot an outbuilding, and next to this outbuilding, you’ll find Xur.
What Xur is selling in Destiny 2 - August 30, 2019

During the week of August 30 through September 3, Xur has a wealth of interesting Exotic items on offer. In Destiny 2, everything sold by Xur can be purchased in exchange for Legendary Shards, with most items priced at or around 23 Legendary Shards in total. Along with Exotic armor pieces for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, you can also purchase an Exotic weapon from Xur plus a Fated Engram.
Wondering what Exotic items are available before you seek Xur out in Destiny 2? Below, we’ve listed everything Xur has up for sale from August 30 through September 3 in Destiny 2!
- Vigilance Wing (Exotic Pulse Rifle) - 29 Legendary Shards
- Aeon Safe (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Ophidia Spathe (Exotic Hunter Chest) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Chromatic Fire (Exotic Warlock Chest) - 23 Legendary Shards
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
Aside from armor pieces like the Ophidia Spathe, Xur also has a Vigilance Wing this week with some interesting rolls attached. While there’s no new Invitation of the Nine, you can nevertheless grab a Fated Engram for 97 Legendary Shards along with a Five of Swords challenge card.
