Stardew Valley’s creator Eric Barone has revealed upcoming features for the game due in 2018.
After teasing nautical features for some time, Barone (a.k.a. ConcernedApe) has announced some key features that will be included in a free multiplayer update next year.
Barone’s tweet indicates Pelican town will be getting a new town event for winter, NPC events, a new collection you can start in winter, signs to display on items, decorations that change with the seasons along with a way to re-spec professions.
That all sounds like good stuff to us, especially when it’s arriving for free. Considering the winter theming, we’re hopefully this will launch early in 2018, but there’s no set date yet. The update's main inclusion will be a multiplayer mode, as well as new story features.
The update will come to PC first before making its way to the console versions as usual.
