The Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day event runs from Friday, Feb 14 to Monday, Feb 17. That means you’ve got the whole weekend to complete the Valentine’s Day research tasks. In fact, so long as you find the tasks during the weekend, you can claim the rewards after the event ends. Here’s the full list of Valentine’s Day research tasks and the rewards they’ll grant:

Chansey, Lickitung and Cherubi are all easier to encounter thanks to the Valentine’s Day research tasks, but the real star of the show in Alomomola. This is a rare Gen 5 Pokemon which was only added for the first time as part of the event. That means the Valentine’s Day research tasks are you first chance to get this water-type in Pokemon Go.

Audino was also added for the first time, though doesn’t feature in the event. They’re both obtainable in the wild as well, so don’t worry too much if you don’t complete the research tasks in time. Spawns for pink Pokemon have been boosted for the whole weekend though, so it’s a good time to go on the hunt. You could even meet a shiny Chansey while exploring.

During the event, Lure Modules will last six hours, and you’ll also get a 2x Catch Candy bonus. In adddition, pink Pokemon will hatch from 7km eggs. Finally, a Lickitung Raid Day will take place Saturday, February 15, from 2pm to 3pm for your timezone.

Once again, the Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day research Tasks are now live, and run until Monday, February 17. Get out there and catch some pink Pokemon!
