How to complete all achievements in Death and Taxes

There are quite a few achievements for you to complete in Death and Taxes. While some are easy, like beating the game and unlocking one possible ending, others are a bit harder. For example, you may have to spare a specific person that the game wants you to mark for Death.
To begin completing achievements, we recommend that you run through the game one full time as you’ll unlock achievements naturally through gameplay. Additionally, it’ll save you from potential story spoilers in some of the achievement descriptions.
To confirm, Death and Taxes does have a New Game+ mode so when you finish your first playthrough, you can jump right back in and keep playing. With that out of the way, here are all of the achievements in Death and Taxes and how to unlock them!

- Lemons: Start your first game of Death and Taxes.
- Curious Grim: Ask all questions in the first lore hub.
- I Scream: Tell Fate that you like ice cream during one of your conversations.
- Meat Your Unmaker: Suggest that the afterlife is an eldritch monster dating show during one of your conversations.
- Feline Fury: Piss off Fate’s cat, Meow, by calling it cute and repeatedly trying to pet it.
- The Sacrifice: Appease Fate’s cat, Meow, with a gift. You can purchase a Gerbil toy from Mortimer’s Shop and, as long as you don’t piss Meow off, will eventually come across a dialogue option that lets you gift Meow the Gerbil.
- Make It Rain: Get a raise.
- Demon Hunter: Find the Immortal.
- Rulebender: Never fully abide by Fate’s instructions (found in the note on your desk during each work day).
- Lifegiver: Spare everyone on a single day.
- Deathbringer: Doom everyone on a single day.
- To Be Or Not To Be: Spend 10 minutes behind your desk being idle and not marking any profiles.
- Squeaky Clean: Use the Eraser tool 10 times. The Eraser can be purchased from Mortimer’s Shop.
- Two-Face: Flip the Decision Coin 100 times.
- Let It RIP: Get the fidget spinner to go up in flames. You can purchase the fidget spinner from Mortimer’s Shop and tap it on your desk to make it spin.
- Desk Jockey: Cram all of your stuff into your desk drawers.
- Armageddon: Reach critical level on all world parameters simultaneously.
- Utopia: Reach Utopian level on all world parameters simultaneously.
- This Is Fine: Drop a single world parameter value at least 2 levels in one day.
- Benefactor: Increase a single world parameter value at least 2 levels in one day.
- Yarr!: Visit Mortimer every single day (even if you have nothing left to buy from him).
- Booty Obsession: Buy all of the items from Mortimer’s Shop.
- Necropimp: Save over 5,000 darksouls (in-game currency).
- Classical: Change your look to the traditional skull and cape of a Grim Reaper.
- Mirror Lover: Choose your appearance for more than 15 minutes straight (remain in the appearance menu flipping through outfits, or remaining idle).
- R.I.P. Fashion: Collect all clothes and visages (many can be purchased from Mortimer’s Shop).
- Pineapple Lover: Spare the guy who likes pineapple on pizza.
- Pineapple Hater: Doom the guy who likes pineapple on pizza.
- Insubordinate: Get fired by Fate.
- Fate’s Pet: Reveal Fate’s Plot by being completely loyal to him.
- The Great Dying: Knowingly fulfill Fate’s plan to end the world.
- Long Live The King: Usurp Fate and take over as the new Fate (obeying the instructions on the red files).
- I’ll Be Back: Witness the end of the world.
- Ouroboros: Relieve Fate of their duties and ascend as the new Fate (this is the Good Ending in Death and Taxes).
- Darwin Award: Stop existing prematurely.
- Begin Again: Start a New Game+ playthrough.
- Treehugger: Finish the game with the lowest chaos level in Ecology.
- Cure Cancer: Finish the game with the lowest chaos level in Health.
- Stonks: Finish the game with the lowest level chaos in Prosperity.
- War Changes: Finish the game with the lowest chaos level in Peace.
- Global Warming: Finish the game with the highest chaos level in Ecology.
- Plague Doctor: Finish the game with the highest chaos level in Health.

- Development Hell: Mark all developers for Death in the game’s end credits.

- Goodest Ending: Get the most positive ending imaginable.
- What Does The Cactus Say?: Buy the Cactus from Mortimer’s Shop and find a way to give it to Fate’s cat, Meow.
As you can see from the list of achievements in Death and Taxes, you’ll need to play through the game multiple times in order to unlock everything. For example, the option to spare or kill the pineapple on pizza guy is final so if you mark him for Death, you’ll need to play through the game again and let him live to unlock the second achievement, Pineapple Hater.
