COD: Warzone players are already pulling off ridiculous stunts

Battle royale bravado.

Call of Duty: Warzone has barely been out a day, and yet players are already finding ridiculous tricks to style on their enemies or cheese the game’s systems.

If you’ve just dropped into your first game of Call of Duty: Warzone and are looking to learn the ropes then you'd best hope that you don’t run into these folks, because they’re liable to ruin your day. Listen, we’re supposed to get at least a month of bumbling around failing to secure kills before the serious gamers log on and demolish everyone, yet somehow we’re already seeing clips like this:

As Twitter user FullSend_FN shows in the clip above, you’re not even safe before you make it to the ground, because canny players are liable to cut their chute and whip out a pistol early if you aren’t paying attention. We can only imagine this will be patched out in the future, but it’s still a ridiculous way to catch an opponent off-guard in the opening moments of the match.

Getting run over by a car is meant to be a bad thing, even in video games. Not so for Reddit user Jaxterminator who posted this ridiculous clip of them leaping onto the hood of an aggressive car, taking the blow calmly only to self revive and gun down the smug driver who was carrying their body like a trophy. As one Reddit commentator put it, this clip 'was straight out of Hollywood’. We can only aspire to such heights.

Finally, 100 Thieves’ Jack “Courage” Dunlop has also figured a sneaky little trick. If you and your allies activate UAVs at the same time, you’ll be able to see the locations and directs of every single other player in the game. That seems like it might be a little bit bonkers in the later stages of the game.

Okay, so what we’ve concluded is that people are already far better than we can ever hope to be in Call of Duty: Warzone, and we’ve only just finished downloading the game. Good, good. Everything is fine.
