Click the Magnifying Glass icon to open a search where you can enter the Riot ID for anyone that you know. This is your username followed by a hashtag and a four digit number. If you already have a League of Legends account and are friends, you may already see them in your list.

To see your Riot ID, hover the mouse of your name in the party section on the right side of the main menu. A box will appear listing your name and the Riot ID number. Share this with your friends or have them share with you then search for this in the box in the bottom right.

Once you’ve added them, click your friends names in the list on the right of the screen and choose to send an invite. If they accept, they’ll be added to your party. From there, anyone in the party who needs to can eadd each other as friends with a simple click of the name in the party.
