Fall has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and true to the season’s name, new items are dropping all over the island. If you want to craft the new autumnal recipes, you’ll want to collect Acorns and Pine Cones. In this guide we’ll explain an easy way to get Acorns and Pine Cones in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
How to get Acorns and Pine Cones in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
You can get Acorns in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by shaking hardwood or oak trees. These are the bushy, lighter colored trees typically found on the lower levels of your island Much like obtaining tree branches, all you need to do is shake a tree until an acorn falls out. You can shake the same tree as many times as you want to get acorns to fall, you don’t need to move to another tree and worry about spawning wasps.
Similarly, you get Pine Cones in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by shaking cedar trees. These are the darker, pointier trees that are usually found on the upper elevations of the island. Again, you can shake the same tree over and over until a pine cone falls.
Acorns and Pine Cones are quite rare spawns from the tree, so you’ll probably shake out a lot of tree branches while you’re looking for them. Make sure you pick some of these up so that there is room for the Acorns or Pine Cones to fall. Having trouble with any of the directions here?
