World of Tanks Kicks Off A Series of 3v3 Tournaments

You can register as a team or by yourself.

If you’re a World of Tanks player who’s burnt out on large-scale random battles but who also doesn’t feel confident enough to take part in 1v1 duels, Wargaming is launching a new tournament series this week that could be right up your alley.

The 3v3 “Platournaments” series consists of three separate tournaments, the first of which will be held tomorrow, November 1st, the second on November 3rd, and the third on November 5th. Each of the three tournaments will feature 3v3 Encounter battles in which participants can use any Tier 3-6 tank to compete for Gold prizes, ranging up to 600 Gold for the team that manages to take the 1st place spot.

The first tournament will be held on the Winterberg map, the second on the Prokhorvka map, and the third on the Siegfried Line map. Interested players can either register as a full three-person team (plus one reserve player) or as solo participants. Those who register solo will be grouped together into their own teams or assigned to a team which is short a member.

For more information or to take part in the Platournaments discussion, you can visit the newest forum page on the World of Tanks website. You can also register for each tournament by heading here for the November 1st tournament, here for the November 3rd tournament, and here for the November 5th tournament.
