To get Earth Crystal in Monster Hunter: World, you’ll need to mine nodes in a few select game regions. Earth Crystal can also be obtained as a Quest reward. The main area where you can mine for Earth Crystal in Monster Hunter: World is Wildspire Waste. Note that Earth Crystal can be mined in sectors 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14 of Wildspire Waste.
Arguably one of the best sectors to mine for Earth Crystal in Wildspire Waste is Sector 6, as this is where four separate mining nodes are located in close proximity. These nodes can be found when you enter Sector 6 to your right. Additional mining notes can be found on the south side of Sector 6. By mining nodes in sectors 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14, you should be able to get a decent supply of Earth Crystal.
Conversely, Earth Crystal can be earned as a reward in the following Quests at the following drop rate percentages:
- The Best Kind of Quest (20% drop chance)
- Sinister Shadows in the Swamp (20% drop chance)
- Mired in the Spire (20% drop chance)
- The Piscine Problem (20% drop chance)
- Landing the Landslide Wyvern (20% drop chance)
- Horned Tyrant Below the Sands (12% drop chance)
- Twin Spires Upon the Sands (12% drop chance)
- Royal Relocation (11% drop chance)
- The Great Glutton (7% drop chance)
- Camp Crasher (7% drop chance)
- Snatch the Snatcher (7% drop chance)
- The Pain from Gains (7% drop chance)
- Exterminator of the Wastes (7% drop chance)
- Prickly Predicament (7% drop chance)
- Gettin’ Yolked in the Wastes (7% drop chance)
Earth Crystal can be used as a Material for crafting various armor and weapon sets.
