Nintendo has announced that a Nintendo Direct will be shown tomorrow, September 4, at 3pm PT.
The lengthy broadcast will run for 40 minutes, and Nintendo has promised that the show will focus on Nintendo Switch games. So far Nintendo has only revealed two games to be shown during the broadcast, and neither is a big shock. Pokemon Sword and Shield will be shown alongside Luigi’s Mansion 3. We’re expecting to be shown at least a few new Galar-region Pokemon or variants during the broadcast, so stay tuned for them!
Tune in 9/4 at 3pm PT for a #NintendoDirect featuring roughly 40 minutes of information focused on 2019 #NintendoSwitch games, including #PokemonSwordShield and #LuigisMansion 3.https://t.co/d1Xx3bDbhq pic.twitter.com/S8w1HkTg62— Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) September 3, 2019

What to expect from the September Nintendo Direct
40 minutes is a long old time to only show two games, which means there are plenty of rumors as to what else will be shown in tomorrow’s direct. The recent appearance of Overwatch gear for Nintendo Switch makes it a likely bet that the hero shooter will be announced for Nintendo’s console. Beyond that, Assassin’s Creed remasters are considered likely, as is the potential of a tease for the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC character.
Beyond that, we’ll really have to wait and see. Thankfully, we don’t have very long to wait at all. Join us again at 3pm PT tomorrow to see the September Nintendo Direct kick off. Is there anything you’re hoping for? Let us know in the comments below!
