How to get all Bunny Day egg types in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
There are six Egg types for Bunny Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Earth, Leaf, Sky, Stone, Water and Wood. They’re hidden in the parts of your island that connect to their names, and shouldn’t be too tough for you to obtain. Just in case, we’ve given a quick explanation of how to get each egg type below:
- Earth Egg: Dug out of the ground from X spots (same as fossils)
- Leaf Egg: Shake trees with eggs in their leaves to make them fall down like fruit
- Sky Egg: Inside floating presents. You’ll need a slingshot to get them.
- Stone Egg: Hit rocks with your shovel to cause these eggs to pop out.
- Water Egg: Catch fish in the sea or rivers to grab these eggs. Eggs can be pulled on a range of shadow sizes.
- Wood Egg: Chop trees with an axe (use the stone axe to avoid cutting them down). Palm trees offer more eggs.
How to get Earth Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Earth Eggs can be obtained by digging certain spots in the ground. They look like Xs on the floor, and are identical to the spots you'll find fossils in. During the Bunny Day event There are many more of them than there would be normally, so it shouldn't take you long to find them. All you need to do is grab a shovel and get to work if you want to get Earth Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can also find them while out on Island Tours.
How to get Leaf Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The most obvious kind of egg. If you want to get Leaf Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, just look around your island for the trees with eggs up in their leaves. They'll only appear on the regular (non fruit) trees, which have changed to pink leaves. Only a few trees on your island will produce leaf eggs, making them one of the rarer kinds of egg.
How to get Sky Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Sky Eggs can only be obtained by shooting down floating presents. The ones with Sky Eggs will show a pattern with colored stripes. Shoot them down with a slingshot and you'll either see a Sky Egg fall to the floor, or get a Bunny Day DIY recipe. Just like the Earth Egg spawns, floating presents have been drastically increased in quantity durting the Bunny Day Event. Listen out for their whooshing sound, or spot the shadow snaking over the ground. Remember that you shoudl avoid shooting presents over water or flowers or you'll risk losing them!
How to get Stone Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
One of the weirder eggs in the event, you can get Stone Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by hitting stones with your shovel. Yep, exactly the same way you'd usually get iron nuggets. Find a stone, build the usual hole format to stop yourself from being pushed back, then whack away. You won't find eggs in any that turn out to be money rocks, but it's worth hitting them anyway for big bells. You can also get Stone Eggs while out on island tours by hitting any rocks you find.
How to get Water Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
One of the easiest eggs to catch during the Bunny Day event. Water Eggs can be fished out of the water, just like a regular scaly pal. They appear as medium sized fish shadows in both rivers and the sea. It's so easy to get Water Eggs, in fact, that it can end up being quite frustrating when you're on the hunt for a fish instead.
How to get Wood Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Finally, to get Wood Eggs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons you need to whack away at some trees with your axe. We recommend using a Stone Axe so that you don't accidentally cut down the trees you like. You'll receive a mix of wood and wood eggs as you chop trees, but if you chop Palm trees you'll increase your odds of getting an egg. Keep at it and you'll haul in plenty of wood eggs with ease.
