Now, connect one converter to the red source and blue source, making sure it’s in the middle are of the map. This will now be capable of supplying a green laser. Then connect the second converter to the blue source and the first converter, combining blue and green to make red. Position this on the other channel, connected to the red gate, as shown above. You can then access the puzzle end.

3. The Talos Principle 2 Castling solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-castling-1

For the Castling puzzle, start by grabbing the RGB converter. Connect it to the red source in the main room, the green source behind the gate with a pressure pad on one side of the room, and the blue receiver on the back wall of the room. Place the converter on the pressure pad so that it opens the gate and activates the blue receiver at the same time.

You can then grab a second RGB converter from the opened blue gate.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-castling-3

Place the second converter such that it connects to the red and green sources, combining to make it a blue source. Then, pick up the original converter, clearing its connections. Connect this to the green source, the other converter, and the final red gate receiver at the other end of the room. Place it on top of the pressure pad as shown above.

This RGB converter will then be connected to green and blue, allowing it to create a red beam and unlock the final gate to solve the Talos Principle 2 Castling puzzle.

4. The Talos Principle 2 Alternative Option solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-alternative-option-1

To solve the Alternative Option solution you need to connect the RGB converter to the blue and red sources while it is being lifted above the wall by the fan. Start by flipping the lever on the wall to activate the fan. Pick up the RGB Converter and stand on the fan to be lifted up in the air. From here, select the red and blue sources as well as the green receiver on the wall to the right.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-alternative-option-2

Fall off the fan and place the converter on the floor. Switch off the fan and place the cube on top of the fan. Now, pick up the RGB converter making sure to keep the connections (repeat the above steps if you don’t) and then place it on top of the box on the fan.

Finally, switch on the fan with the lever to lift the RGB converter into the air and activate everything all at once. Now that’s satisfying.

5. The Talos Principle 2 Through The Door solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-through-the-door-1

Start Through The Door by placing the connector on the pressure plate to open the first gate. Head through it and the next one held open by a jammer.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-through-the-door-2

Walk through the purple barrier and reposition the jammer to open the other locked gate at the end of the chamber. This will allow you to grab the RGB converter from within.

Take the RGB converter out, then replace the jammer to its original position, opening the path back to the start. Then take the RGB converter through and place it on the first pressure pad, replacing the connector.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-through-the-door-4

Take the connector through to the chamber outside the jammer and connect it to the blue source and the blue receiver by the gate. Make sure you position it so that it can be seen through the first gate in the opening chamber.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-through-the-door-5

You can now pick up the jammer and use it to jam the first gate instead (the one activated by the pressure plate).

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-through-the-door-6

Head back to the starting chamber and grab the RGB converter. Link it to the red source, the blue connector you placed previously, and the green receiver to open the final gate and complete the Through the Door puzzle.

6. The Talos Principle 2 Alternatives solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-alternatives-1

To solve the Alternatives puzzle you need to use RGB converters on each other to create the colors you need. Start by connecting one to the blue and red sources (to form a green source). Then connect the second to the blue source and first RGB converter as well as the red receiver to open the gate.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-alternatives-2

In the next chamber, you need to basically do the same again, but also using the converters from the first room. Take one converter and connect it to the two previous RGB converters to make a blue laser. Link it to the blue receiver on the next gate. Then take the other RGB converter and connect it to the green RGB converter in the first room and the blue RGB converter you just made in this room. That will create a red beam you can connect to the red receiver.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-alternatives-3

With both of the receivers activated, you can reach the Alternatives puzzle end.

7. The Talos Principle 2 Self-Sufficiency solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-self-sufficiency-1

Start the Self-Sufficiency puzzle in the Talos Principle 2 by picking up the fan from the machine at the back side and using it to weigh down the pressure pad next to the center. Grab the connector from within and take it out into the rest of the chamber. Repeat this process on the pressure pad on the far side to access an RGB converter.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-self-sufficiency-2

You now need to link the two devices you’ve obtained using the raised ring around the edges of the arena. First, link the connector to the green source behind the first gate and the green receiver for that gate, then place it up on the raised out ring. Use the fan or step on the plate yourself to open the gate. The Green connector will charge the receiver, keeping the gate open on its own.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-self-sufficiency-3

Then, head over to the other side and link the RGB converter to the connector you just placed, the blue source behind the gate, and the two red receivers (one for the gate and one for the fan). Use the fan or stand on the plate to open this gate. The green and blue beams will convert to red, powering up both the gate and the fan.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-self-sufficiency-4

You can now place the fan back in the activated machine and use it to launch yourself up to the end of the Self-Sufficiency puzzle.

8. The Talos Principle 2 Entanglement solution

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-entanglement-1

The final core Grasslands Ring puzzle is Entanglement, and it’s here that you’ll also be able to complete the Pandora challenge for this area. Start by picking up the connector and linking it to the blue source behind the gate on the right, then place the connector on the pressure plate to open that gate. You can now access the RGB converter inside the room with the disabled fan.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-entanglement-2

Take the RGB converter back to the first chamber. Connect it to the red source behind the gate in this room, the connector (linked to the blue source) you placed on the pad, and the green receiver for the gate leading to a cube. Grab the cube from this chamber and bring it through to the main one.

Here’s where things get a bit more complicated. Take the cube and place it on top of the fan. Pick up the RGB converter and link it to the red source, the blue source, and the green receiver for the fan. If you haven’t done so already, you will also want to link the RGB converter to the Pandora statue visible over the back wall of the fan chamber (see above). Place the linked up RGB converter on top of the cube that’s on top of the fan.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-entanglement-3

Head back out to the main chamber and pick up the connector from the pressure pad. Take it back over to the other pressure pad close to the red source. Link the connector to the red source and the RGB connector on top of the cube in the fan room. Then place the connector on the pressure pad for the RGB source.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-entanglement-4

Stand on the pressure plate to open the gate to the fan room. The red beam will now connect, charging your green RGB converter. This in turn will power the fan, lifting the RGB converter up on top of the box so that it can connect to all sources at once.

The-talos-principle-2-grasslands-ring-puzzle-solutions-entanglement-5

Finally, pick up the connector from the pressure pad and connect it to the floating RGB converter (green) and the final door receiver, making sure it's far enough back not to be blocked by the grill. This will solve the Entanglement puzzle and complete the Pandora challenge for this area. Well done!
