Where to turn in your Vex Mind Components in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

As gamers sink their teeth into the Shadowkeep expansion of Destiny 2, many have found themselves earning Vex Mind Components. We earned ours as we increased our rank in the Season Pass for Season of the Undying, though info on what to do with them is scarce. After doing a bit of research, we learned that Vex Mind Components can only be used when interacting with a specific vendor. Confused? Vex Mind Components are a form of currency in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. As noted above, you can earn Vex Mind Components in various ways, though we earned our as we ranked up our Season Pass in Season of the Undying. For example, you get 25 Vex Mind Components when you reach Rank 12 and another 25 when you hit Rank 32.

When it comes to what you do with Vex Mind Components, you can turn them in to Shadowkeep’s vendor, Ikora Rey. How do we know this? The item description for Vex Mind Components reads: “Offer this to Ikora in exchange for Vex weapon artifacts.” Keep in mind that Ikora Rey won’t be “available” until Saturday, meaning you’ll need to hold on to your Vex Mind Components until then.

Once Saturday rolls around, you should be able to speak with Ikora Rey on the Moon and browse through her inventory. In addition to seeing how you can exchange your Vex Mind Components, you’ll also be able to work with Ikora Rey to complete Vex Offensive activities (as long as you have a Season Pass for Season of the Undying).

By completing Vex Offensive activities, you’ll earn rewards, including additional Vex Mind Components that can be turned back over to Ikora Rey. Be sure to check back, as we’ll be updating this guide once Ikora Rey has her inventory available on Saturday. At that time, we’ll have more information on what Vex Mind Components are used for in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.
